PROJECT TITLE:   West High Street Water Line Reinforcement

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project provides for the installation of 1,800 linear feet of 20–inch water line along West High Street from Moravian Lane to Cary Parkway.  This water line will reinforce the existing 12-inch water line at that location.  The FY 2010 appropriation of $165,000 fully funds this project.

 

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION:

The West High Street Water Line Reinforcement project provides additional water service capacity to meet periods of peak demand and high fire fighting flow.
